Allah’s Messenger (PBUH) said: Whoever stayed (in worship) during (the night) in Ramadaan because of his reward (from Allah), all his previous sins would be forgiven. [Bukhari:2008, Muslim:759]
Narrated Zaid bin Thabit (RZ) : The Prophet (PBUH) said: Your attitude was persistent (in regard to your deep yearning for night prayer), I saw it and I apprehended that (this prayer) might become obligatory for you, you would be not able to observe it (constantly), so observe prayer in your houses, for the most excellent prayer for a man is that which is observed in his house except the obligatory prayer.[ Bukhari:731, Muslim:781]
